Yesterday, I started reading Coraline to my daughter, since the movie is coming out next month. I've been procrastinating on reading this one here to her since getting it in an eBay lot of 7 hardcover novels for only $9.99 - and it's a first edition print! Just another of one of those lovely hidden treasures that eBay is famous for. :o)

We have one dog, and his name is Bailey. He sticks right by my side during the day and sleeps near our bedside at night (or at times, even underneath our bed). He's a calm soul and loves to be loved. Show him the least bit of affection & he'll tuck his head underneath your hand or continue to nudge you until you continue paying him attention.
The picture to the left is from a few days ago, through our glass sliding door & screen, which is upstairs leading out to the patio. I had to snap off a pic before opening the door or else he would've rushed into the house.
Poor Bailey...this happens every time it snows & he goes out in it. Snow balls up within his fur. But in the snow's defense, he rolls & rolls around in it like it's no ones business. There's definitely special place in this pup's heart for green grass in the summer & fluffy snow in the winter.
He goes to the groomers every 4 weeks and each time he practically jumps into my arms when I appear to pick him back up after his day of primping. Love that.
Did I mention Bailey snores? Yeah, on occasion he snores worse than a grown man. In a weird way, it's cute. Loud......but cute.
In the past year, Bailey's become a part of our family and someone we look forward to seeing every day in our household. But no matter what, I would never trade my little furry man for anything.
